Responsibilities:
- Work in an Agile scrum team, responsible for Quality Assurance, proactively contribute to all agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, Estimation, Daily Stand ups and retrospectives).
- Work closely with the Product Owner, Scrum Master and stakeholders to get clarity on the requirements and reporting.
- Define scope, create and maintain test plans and test strategy; define and maintain test tools for testing and certification.
- Create and review test cases, raise and manage defects in Jira.
- Execute and review test cases within test cycle in Jira, analyse results, and report defects in a timely and efficient manner.
- Documentation and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Minimize production issues by ensuring adequate test coverage on testing tasks.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of the testing process and automation framework.
- Keep up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in QA and EFTPOS technology.
Requirements:
- At least 5+ years for Quality assurance experience.
- At least 3+ year of testing EFTPOS terminals.
- Strong knowledge on payment industry and financial messaging standards, mainly ISO 8583 and AS2805.
- Proven experience in requirements analysis, test planning and environment setup.
- Proven experience writing test plans, test strategies, test cases, defect management and test reporting.
- Up to date industry best practises in software testing.
- Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile frameworks
- Experience in test management tools such as JIRA, X-Ray
- Experience in Test Cases Traceability with Requirements (using JIRA, X-Ray).
- Strong team approach, “can do” attitude and ability to work in a high performing team and working collaboratively to meet tight deadlines.
- Proactive and assume responsibility.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in automated testing is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of programming languages and automation tools.
- Self-motivated and ability to work with the business.
- Growth mindset and not afraid of a challenge
