Health and Safety Specialist
Safety and employee wellbeing responsibility in a geographically spread organisation. Partner with the business leading Health and Safety. This is a leadership role to coach and support line managers in the handling of day-to-day issues. You will need to bring the leadership required to ensure actions to eliminate or control hazards within the workplace and empower all personnel implement best practice WHS in their workplaces. Advice to the business on appropriate management and controls to minimise risk is in your remit along with the administration required to ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken with operations contractors and other key personnel.
If you can demonstrate leadership and commitment and accountability for the workplace health and safety performance with 5 plus years experience within a WHS leadership role we want the hear from you. We would also like to see a tertiary qualification in workplace health and safety (or equivalent) and strong knowledge of relevant WHS legislation, Codes of Practice and Standards. A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment advantageous. This is hybrid role with site visits required. Remuneration reflects the responsibility.
