ABOUT THE ROLE

CMAX Advisory is seeking applications for high-performing public affairs / strategic communications specialists to support the development and execution of complex strategies, and government relations and stakeholder engagement campaigns.

You will:

  • Support client engagement on a broad range of strategic projects and campaigns, ensuring we provide high-quality services and outcomes;
  • Support our clients’ stakeholder and partner engagement with industry and government, both political and Departmental;
  • Support the development of campaign strategies to meet our clients' corporate objectives;
  • Analyse government policy and industry developments relevant to clients;
  • Support the management of key client and stakeholder relationships.

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking candidates with the some of following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience at Parliament House 
  • Previous experience in industry (resources, health, transport, infrastructure)
  • Interest in the Australian political environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexible, dynamic and highly motivated approach to work and ability to work to tight deadlines, managing competing priorities
