Are you an experienced HR professional seeking a new challenge? We are currently recruiting for Assistant Director (EL1) and Senior Advisor (APS 6) positions to join a prestigious organization's Corporate Strategy and Services Branch based in Canberra.
About the Role:In these roles, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the corporate frameworks, systems, and policies of our client, enabling them to operate effectively as a separate entity. Your expertise in Work Health and Safety (WHS) and Performance & Case Management will be essential as you collaborate with stakeholders to establish critical processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:Develop comprehensive WHS frameworks, including policies, processes, incident, and risk management protocols.Implement interim WHS arrangements during the transition period.Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.Establish performance & case management frameworks and associated policies.Coordinate service providers for the Employee Assistance Program and insurance coverage.Provide expert advice and support on sensitive HR matters.Drive initiatives to foster a positive, proactive organizational culture.Support the broader team/branch in achieving strategic corporate objectives.Requirements:Proven experience in WHS and Performance & Case Management.Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively.Minimum Baseline level security clearance required.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to a significant organizational transformation.
