About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who is able to deliver on various business service projects within the construction, government, and private sectors. The Project Manager will be able to interpret architectural/engineering drawings, for the purpose of managing the installing of prescribed/quoted safety solutions for clients in line with their expectations.
A strong knowledge of the industrial safety market, available products and service solutions, and a good understanding of the requirements for safety systems is essential.
This role will be responsible for the management of Height Safety Installations, with a focus on quality management, client communication, as well as the management and leadership of the Installation Teams, whilst maintaining adequate staffing and training costs.
You will be responsible for scheduling installation team, ensure all materials and equipment required is arranged for project sites, booking EWPs if required, and liaising with the factory manager to ensure works are ready for installation.
Reporting to the General manager, this position will act as the lynch pin between HiRise and their Clients.
About You
The right candidate for this role will have outstanding stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally. A detailed understanding and experience working with the Melbourne based unions would be highly desired.
You will be able to adjust your management style with clients to ensure quoted works are completed on time, or any variation of works is communicated and charged accordingly to the clients.
You will professionally represent HiRise at all times, displaying our Culture and Values, whilst building and instilling these values in your direct reports.
The successful candidate will hold or have experience in:
- An Engineering, Mechanical or similar degree
- Experience or a working knowledge in construction, manufacturing or other related industries
- Be able to manage and report on project budget and cost controls.
- Site inspections, meetings and reporting
- Construction White Card (or be willing to obtain)
- Working at Height Certificate (or be willing to obtain)
- Manual Drivers Licence (essential)
Whilst this role will be primarily based at our office in Campbellfield, you will also be expected to attend construction sites, and on some occasions, you may be asked to work away from home. Any expenses incurred working away from home are reimbursed by HiRise.
