They provide their customers with the highest quality electrical, data and telecommunications services. Some of their projects include; Schools, Hotels, Commercial Buildings, Industrial & Data.
Due to unprecedented growth, they are currently seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to join their team.
THE ROLE
As Estimating Manager, you will manage all aspects of tender preparation, including take offs, drawing and specification review, labour and material costings. Reporting to the Managing Director your responsibilities will include:
- Follow Company Policies and Procedures.
- Ensure all client, regulatory and statutory (legal requirements) and any additional requirements are fully understood and documented and reviewed to ensure that compliance can be achieved in a cost effective, timely manner.
- Complete take-offs and bills of quantities
- Establish labour rates and material costings in conjunction with Managing Director and Division Managers.
- Tender preparation and submission ensuring deadlines are adhered to.
- Ability to read site plans, complete necessary paperwork and have a sound knowledge of all facets of the electrical trades.
- Communicate and negotiate with Sub-contractors, Head Contractors and suppliers.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure quality workmanship is produced.
- Manage relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Develop new client relationships.
- Strong technical and management experience in Electrical, data and communication cabling and infrastructure.
- Sound understanding of the NSW construction market.
- Attention to detail.
