Job DescriptionWe are seeking a passionate and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The Business Development Manager will support our diverse range of customers by providing business support as well as building a strong rapport to increase the customers level of achievement. We are looking for a Melbourne based Business Development Manager, who would look after the VIC, TAS, SA and NZ. You must be results-driven and contribute to the growth of the medical aesthetic device market. The successful candidate will play a key role in strategizing, executing and implementing all account management initiatives related to the consumable distribution of the company’s products.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Achieve set sales targets and utilization quota in the designated sales territory
- Identify business opportunities within the territory
- Drive the consumable sales business in the clinic
- Source, cultivate and provide qualified system referral leads to Area Sales Manager.
- Work with key clinic stakeholders to increase the customer’s utilization of Cutera systems.
- Build rapport with customers through onsite visits to provide staff training on how to optimize their technology investment.
- Deliver presentations and small workshops to effectively guide staff through sales and marketing techniques to drive behavior change in the clinic as required.
- Provide marketing strategies to customers through digital marketing, website, microsite development, internal and external branding, patient segmentation and sales tactics.
- Responsible for VIP Events plus the support of regional workshops, open houses, lunches/dinners within the sales territory.
About You:
- Ability to navigate the clinic / medical practice environment to engage staff and key decision makers
- Consultative and supportive approach to nurture and support the customer’s needs whilst delivering revenue growth for Cutera & clinic alike.
- Excellent communicator; both written and orally.
- Proven success in building rapport with customers; ability to effectively communicate with, and persuade audiences.
- Must have a positive “Play to Win” outlook.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized to assist clinics with Cutera processes.
- Marketing knowledge; including traditional, digital and in the office marketing will be looked upon favourably.
- Must be able to work autonomously as well as within a team.
- Ability to travel as required to cover VIC, SA, TAS & NZ territories.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience from Business, Health Science or Biomedicine.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a field-based sales or account management environment.
- Experience in aesthetics or medical device industry highly regarded
- Experience with Salesforce is highly regarded.
- Valid Driver’s License required & reliable car
- Valid passport with the flexibility to travel interstate (VIC,SA, TAS) & international (NZ) on a regular basis
