Our client is a medium sized, well established, Remedial Building Company that has been specialising in Residential and Commercial Remedial projects for the last 10 years. They have been providing Structural Concrete Repair, Cathodic Protection and Carbon Fibre Strengthening services across NSW, VIC, WA and plan on continued growth across Australia.
The Role
Due to positive company growth, our client currently has an exciting and challenging role as a NSW General Manager
The successful person would be coming from the Remedial Building industry either as a current General Manager, or Operations Manager, or a State Manager. Our client is also open to candidates that are a Senior Project Manager from the Remedial Building industry looking for their next career move into a Management role.
Reporting directly into the National General Manager and Directors, the NSW General Manager would be responsible for the successful Leadership and Growth of the NSW State division. This role would also see you focusing on key deliverables including all facets of safety, quality, operational, financial and customer satisfaction from a management level.
What are we looking for?
- Essential - Minimum 10 years’ local (Australia) experience managing large scale complex Remedial Building projects.
- Essential Experience - All aspects of Remedial Building - Concrete Repair, Concrete Cancer, Protective Coatings, Waterproofing.
- Essential - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or Construction Management or a related field.
- Desirable - Previous experience in a Senior Management role within a Remedial Building company.
- Desirable - A strong understanding of construction contract law.
- A proactive and professional leader with the proven ability to communicate with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with integrity and dedication to forge strong relationships.
- Strong ability to influence and lead teams.
