Senior Administrator - Accounting Firm - North Shore

in this role you will:

Be the first point of contact for clients

Duties:

  • Following up on signed documents from the client
  • Follow up outstanding debtors/payments
  • Scheduling meetings with Clients Managers and ensuring the meeting rooms and 'meeting ready'
  • ASIC management for clients (change of company details, deregistration of companies, Audit relief etc)
  • Updating lodgement reports and lodgement of tax returns/ BAS
  • Work-flow management - allocating work to client manages and following up the finalisation of work
  • Assisting the Partners and Managers with ad-hoc tasks, such as social events.
  • Reception backup to the offshore team, taking messages, screening and forwarding calls
  • Managing a busy email inbox, screening emails and forwarding to the relevant people within the business

Skills and personal attributes required:

  • You must have experience working in admin within an accounting firm and happy to be an all rounder.
  • Welcoming, friendly, polite and professional, enjoy client interaction
  • English must be exceptional, ideally your first language
  • You must have proven job stability and longevity on your CV
  • Must be proactive, organised and be self-motivated.
  • Be client-focused
  • Experience using Workflow Max, Xero would be an advantage
  • Be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident
