Head of Procurement Aluminum Division

**Your duties & responsibilities**:
The position will lead the entire Direct & Indirect Procurement, Raw Material Management, Import activities including machineries, inward & outward freight, overall export documentation and benefits management for the Aluminum Division in Constantia Flexibles. As member of the Divisional Management Team the position holder will be responsible to implement various Excellence Strategies to support the overall Organizational Strategy.

A "Can do" attitude and the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization with significant emphasis on collaboration, influence and persuasion, rather than relying entirely on command and control, are key.

Among others:

- Ensures products and services are delivered on time / in full and at the best quality and value
- Derived from Group Procurement/Category strategies develops Divisional stragies including, goals, KPIs, roles and processes and evaluation of outcomes
- Secures the implementation and roll-out of defined group-wide procurement/category strategies in the division
- Provides functional and operational leadership to Procurement Team and Plant counterparts at various levels
- Develops long term partnerships with strategic suppliers according to criteria such as quality, costs, reliability, financial stability, risks, etc.
- Drives & monitors efficiency improvement and cost reduction projects & best practices
- Analyzes market trends and ensures state of the art sourcing tactics
- Leads major negotiations and contract management with core suppliers (in sychronisation with Group Procurement)
- Manages supplier portfolio and risks, ensures tracking of saving and working capital initiatives for the division, Data transparency and Reporting
- Collaborates with Operations and Sales function in order to ensure availability of Raw Material stock & margin improvement
- Runs SKU Optimization activity in collaboration with Sales, PM, R&D and Operations function
- Leverages from existing best practices across the industry/company and aspires to achieve sustainable and profitable internal/external relationships
- Ensures utmost adherence to Compliance and Business ethics in the divisional function

**Requirements**:
We are looking for someone with:

- Completed higher education (Master Degree) in relevant field
- Technical and/or commercial background
- Min. 10 years in progressive roles in a commercial function in manufacturing, ideally in the flexible packaging industry
- Min. 5 years in a (senior) procurement leadership role
- Multi-site and preferrably international experience
- Experience in budget and CAPEX management
- Experience in project management
- Ability to successfully influence people/ teams at all levels towards a shared vision
- Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
- Results-driven, entrepreneurial and open minded
- Strong problem-solving mindset
- Team player and leader with very high standards and proven change management abilities
- Senior, high-calibre management personality with gravitas, drive and strive for excellence
