**Your duties & responsibilities**:
The **Category Manager Aluminum** owns the category from A-Z (commercial, supplier, technology strategy). In this exciting role you define the category strategy and support its implementation. You are responsible for running the relevant analyses to drive efficiencies, executing sourcing activities incl. key negotiations and managing supplier and internal relationships. A strong drive towards analysis derived actions completes your profile.

Among your daily key duties are as follows:

- Being responsible for the category strategy definition and implementation
- Sourcing and supply chain optimization
- Comprehensive management of all category related activities
- Organizing and carrying out global tender, negotiations and contracting
- Working cross-functional with related departments
- Being a key-enabler of category innovations and implementation of such
- Being fully accountable for category target achievement globally.
- Working with other Category Managers, exchange best-practice processes across the Procurement Team.
- Collaborating with key business partners (e.g. Sites, Operations, Product Mgmt., Sales) to align category strategy and identify joint projects
- Working closely with the R&D department to facilitate cooperation with suppliers in order to develop new products
- Developing and managing global supply network and partnerships

**Requirements**:
**Technical Attributes**:

- Higher education (HTL/Bachelor/Master)
- Fluent in German and English (Written and oral)
- Relevant working experience within procurement, preferably within strategic procurement
- Project Management: Develops project plans and communicates changes and progress. Completes projects on time and within budget
