- The Human Resources Site Head will provide HR leadership and direction for the Linz manufacturing facility in a context of an acquisition and will be the HR Business partner for Manufacturing and R&D leaders. This role will play a key role in supporting the strategic vision for our product development and manufacturing.**What we value**

**What you will do**
- Build people and organizational capabilities to achieve revenue, EBITDA targets in a collaborative and dynamic environment that promotes our core values of integrity, accountability, superior quality and services for our customers, an inspired workforce and one team.
- Ensure a smooth transition post-closing of the acquisition including HR systems and continuation of benefits.
- Develop and lead the HR integration plan regarding all HR processes, negotiating with a newly formed works council.
- Implement established HR policies / practices consistently across the site.
- Serve as HR Business partner for the head of manufacturing and R&D ensuring the right capacity and capabilities are in place.
- Play a leadership role as a business partner to drive a culture that values quality, leadership, ingenuity, teamwork, and commitment to success.
- Manage employee relations activities within area of responsibility. Effectively investigate employee matters and reach appropriate resolution and maintain productive and effective working relationships with the works council, including being well versed in the applicable agreement and employment terms, as well as works council operations.
- Leads talent management, performance management, compensation and benefits and training and development initiatives and priorities in area of responsibility.
- Ensure the company remains compliant in all applicable areas of employee relations, including with respect to privacy, compensation and benefits, employee certifications and documentation, and time management, among others. Remain abreast of legal and compliance developments. Support audits by Social Security and Tax Authority and management of compulsory occupational health and security measures.
- Effectively collaborate and build trusting relationships with other HR team members to manage the function efficiently and effectively, including HR operations/benefits, compensation, recruitment, Corporate HR, and peers throughout the function.
- Drives employee engagement initiatives and processes impacting the manufacturing facility/ function(s). Leads employee programs and activities that support a positive working environment.

**What you will need**
- 15+ years broad experience within Human Resources function in a global Company with experience of working in a matrix environment. International experience and Pharmaceutical HR experience preferred.
- BS/BA required; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PPT) and HRIS systems.
- Clear thinker - able to manage priorities and deliver results.
- Team-worker - Work well with others and know how to leverage competencies across the organization.
- Growth mindset - Positive, eager to learn.
- Thorough understanding of trade union and Austrian Works Council. Well versed in Austrian HR administration, interaction with Austrian authorities, labor laws.
- Highly customer focused. Strong business and people acumen combined with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication and relationship building skills. Ability to navigate organizations and communicate with individuals at all levels.
- Pragmatic and self-driven individual with an entrepreneurial spirit who excels in dynamic environment and has experience working through ambiguity and complexity. Willing to navigate within a lean structure.
- German language (speaking and writing), English (speaking and writing).
