For our location in Vienna we are looking for a motivated personality ready to join our Quality department as Head of Quality Management and Regulatory Affairs Raw Material Europe (M/F/d).

Your key responsibilities:

- Act as a key contributor to constantly improve the Raw Material - and consequently the final product’s quality level
- Organize personnel and technical resources in Europe to ensure that the Procurement Quality, Food Safety Policy, and Customer Satisfaction are met.
- Lead the Raw Material Quality team to excellence enabling it to achieve strategic goals of the group/division.
- Assess and mitigate Food Safety risks of regional forecasted materials.
- Support the procurement teams and internal customers targeting a continuous improvement of source performance
- Cooperate with the purchasing department and internal customers on the elaboration and development of sourcing strategies
- Evaluate source performance and develop source improvement plans.
- Define and implement best practices (provision of appropriate environment and tools for continuous further development of Global Procurement Organization Quality processes through a standards-driven and results-based approach)
- Develop and maintain the quality system of the organization (ISO).
- Lead and/or participate to global/regional projects.

Your profile:

- Bachelor of Applied Science (Food Technology) or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of responsible experience as a Quality Manager within the food process industry.
- Ability to lead, mentor and develop a small to medium-sized international team.
- Proven ability to change culture through influencing behaviors.
- Sound knowledge of food standards and regulations including audit level experience of HACCP and other GFSI Quality and Food Safety Management Systems.
- As a pro-active team player with excellent communication and organizational skills, you act as an interface between suppliers, customers, and internal departments (purchasing, logistics).
- You are stress-resistant, resilient and you can work in a fast-paced environment that requires high flexibility and commitment to results.
- Operational knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and SAP/BW.
- Fluent in English, any other language is an advantage
