**About the job**

As an PI Professional for Operations Excellence, you will directly report to the Head of Operational Excellence. You will be primarily responsible for developing and optimizing visualizations and evaluations for production processes based on AVEVA PI System. In this role, you will work with state-of-the-art equipment and highly innovative methods and tools in collaboration with our dedicated interdisciplinary team. Additionally, you will provide the basis for future machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions. You will travel internationally up to 30% of the working time to our various production sites.

**In addition, your tasks will include**
- Creation of real-time visualizations and dashboards (digital twins) of equipment, production lines and full production plants based on sensor data and data of superimposed systems (SAP, MES,...)
- Analysis of existing process parameters with the help of data analysis and optimization of these in improvement projects together with the technicians in the production plants
- Supporting and troubleshooting in the production facilities and for reliability engineers and quality managers.

**What we expect from you in terms of**

**Education, Knowledge & Skills**
- A technical university degree, preferably in the fields of process engineering, environmental and energy process engineering, industrial chemistry, or similar course of studies.
- Skills in AVEVA PI system (OSIsoft PI)
- Knowledge of statistics, data processing and machine learning (e.g. Python)
- Proficient MS Office User, especially Excel
- Driving license B is an advantage

**Languages**
- English - Proficient/Fluent
- German - Proficient/Fluent

**Work Experience**

Ideally some years of relevant work experience in designing and implementing real-time visualizations and reports in AVEVA OSIsoft PI.

The annual gross salary for this position will start from € 53.000,00 on a full-time basis, depending on your qualification and experience, as well as the amount of overtime and your level of seniority.
