You will be part of the Group BCBS239 Independent Validation Unit (IVU), which is a team located within the Group Data Management area at Erste Group.

**Your Tasks**:

- Ensures operations with regards to proper validation of bank´s business activities regarding regulatory requirements related to BCBS 239
- Supports operations with regards to definition, communication and maintenance/set-up of group wide BCBS 239 IVU function
- Supports the functional further development of Erste Group's BCBS 239 validation activities according to market best practices
- Enables excellence of the IVU network by methodological guidance and quality assurance
- Enables the collaboration model with respect to BCBS 239 across the Group
- Contributes as group-wide Competence Center related to IVU specific activities
- Contributes to proper identification, measuring, assessing, documenting of BCBS 239 relevant topics and proper reporting and finding statement across the business lines
- Supports overall improvements within business processes by placing valuable recommendations within the yearly validation process
- Supports the creation of the annual validation report to Holding Board including proper measurement and recommendations to fully adhere to all BCBS 239 related regulations

**Your Background**:

- University degree in related studies (economics, finance or law)
- Certifications in the areas of Risk Management, Audit or Finance are an advantage
- Min. 3 years’ experience in banking, preferably with background and know how in Risk Management, Regulatory Reporting functions and/or Internal /External Audit positions
- Team player with excellent communication skills and a hands-on mindset
- You are pro-active and you act in a reliable and structured manner
- Excellent English skills in writing and speaking, additionally German and/or any CEE language is an advantage
