**AS&T Specialist (M/F/d), 100%, Quality Large Molecules, Drug Substance Schaftenau, Austria**

>1 Tone This the amount of API (active pharmaceutical ingredient) which is produced per year in the site Drug Substance Schaftenau. The AS&T team is responsible for handling all analytical topics for our commercial projects. In the role as Analytical Science and Technology Specialist (f/m/d), you will be part of the Equipment Qualification Team for QC labs actively contributing towards ensuring patient safety and supporting the supply of our medicine to the patients worldwide.**Your key responsibilities**:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Management of analytical instrument qualification - establishment of qualification documents, person of contact to the supplier, establishment of working instructions and SOPs for analytical equipment, e.g. for nucleic acid extractions, quantitative PCR cycler, HPLCs, freezers, microscopes
- Support set-up of new QC laboratory for testing of mammalian cell culture intermediates and products
- Understanding of relevant guidelines and GMP requirements
- Cross-functional work with other departments, e.g. QC, QA Compliance and engineering

**Minimum requirements**

**What you’ll bring to the role**:
**Essential**:

- B.Sc/ M.Sc. or equivalent qualification in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy or Biotechnology
- Proficient in German & English (oral and written)
- Proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry in an analytical position
- Good communication skills
- Independent working style
- Experience and technical understanding for analytical equipment, e.g. for nucleic acid extractions, quantitative PCR cycler, HPLCs, freezers, microscopes

For this position the minimum salary is € 49.804,58/year (on a full time basis).
