**The job**:
As our new **Regional Market Development Specialist**, you will help to drive the sales of services for our Life Sciences and Laboratory Products Group in the EMEA region. You will partner with local instrument sales, service sales and marketing teams to drive awareness, demand and contract capture for Thermo Fisher Scientific’s service & support offering through various sales support activities.

This will be an exciting and multifaceted role where you will work on a variety of cross-divisional projects, giving you exposure to many different parts of the business and the chance to learn and expand your network.

We are offering this role as **fully remote** (working from home), based **anywhere in Europe**. Occasional international travel may be required (on average 3 to 4 times per year), with overnight stays. Ideally, you will live within commuting distance of an international airport.

**What will you do?**
- Drive commercial engagement including Channels partners and training to advance service & support value proposition and propel upfront service attachment
- Support IVDR landscape change management, with setup, pricing, offer updates
- Own the monthly pricing process for instrument and packages, in E1 and SAP
- Support sales enquiries on local requests (pricing, product offer)
- Monitor regional market performance (e.g. revenue, service attachment) and competitive threats with sales, marketing and service & support leaders, including participation in gap-to-close analysis and corrective actions as required
- Partner with service sales and marketing on lead management, qualify service opportunities, facilitate data enrichment and maintenance programs
- Use local marketing capabilities to adapt global campaigns and related materials for in-region deployment
- Support sales & marketing pilots, tactics and events as needed
**Who we are looking for**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering or Business
- Fluent in English (essential)
- Some Marketing and/or Sales experience preferred - preferably within the Life Science industry, but open to other backgrounds
- Experience with life sciences or clinical research products and services of particular interest
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with cross functional teams and people with diverse personalities and responsibilities
- Excellent communication, organization and project management skills
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and large databases
A goal-oriented attitude with an ability to meet and surpass goals and objectives
- Must be self-motivated and capable of working independently and remotely, while still maintaining close connections and team collaborations
- Exhibits a high degree of flexibility in adapting to a constantly evolving business environment
