**EMEA Market Development Manager, Sample Prep**

**Some key information**

The Regional Market Development Manager (RMD) is responsible for translating business strategy into inspiring regional marketing that builds customer value, revenue, and growth.

Partnering with the Global Market Development team and other internal teams to develop and implement the EMEA marketing strategy across our Sample Preparation portfolio, initially focusing on automation of workflows through the adoption of magnetic bead technologies within the Core Research and Translational markets.

Driving impactful marketing activities that highlight our added value will be essential, alongside the capacity to work in cross divisional teams to build customer-centric workflows. The ability to demonstrate thought leadership and manage interactions with key opinion leaders within this field, is also key to this role.

Enable our commercial and distributor organizations to deliver EMEA Marketing revenue and achieve business financial goals.

This role can be based remotely or working from a Thermo Fisher office in Western Europe.

**What will you do?**
- Demonstrate insights into our customers and how our capabilities address their business-critical needs.
- Position campaigns with a “customer-first” point of view.
- Collaborate with our global marketing, regional marketing, and sales teams on marketing program development and implementation.
- Develop and deliver the regional marketing strategy & plan for your product area with a large degree of autonomy.
- Analyze marketing performance and use data-based evidence to adjust current campaigns in addition to creating new campaigns, where needed, to deliver against incremental revenue goals, accelerating demand in the EMEA region,
- Successfully launch New Product Introductions (NPIs) to direct customers and partners to achieve revenue targets, aligning with product management and commercial managers.
- Enable our sales channels (direct and channel partners) by providing impactful marketing, tools, and training to achieve financial and campaign goals.
- Regularly interact with senior leadership and perform detailed analysis & reporting around business performance, customers, markets, and segments.
- Lead the regional portfolio management tasks for sample preparation through organic solvent-, spin column-, magnetic beads and hand held magnet -based portfolio of products, collaborating with Commercial and Global teams.
- Own the marketing budget, ensuring marketing activities achieve expectations.

**How will you get here?**

**Education**
- A Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in the life sciences or marketing fields is required.
- A Master’s degree, or equivalent, in the life sciences or marketing fields; or MBA is preferred.

**Experience**
- Possess knowledge of competitors, products, and customer needs within the sample preparation market.
- A demonstrable ability to efficiently implement marketing/sales plans to drive revenue growth.
- Strong record of working in cross-functional teams and operating within a matrix organization to achieve goals.
- Proven track record of meeting bold objectives and developing strong working relationships.

- Impactful communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Analytical skills.
- Ability to travel as (up to 25% travel) in EMEA and occasionally Worldwide.
