Located in the 22nd district, The Student Hotel Vienna operates over 800 rooms, 3 restaurants, shops and a thriving co-working community. We’re so much more than just a hotel. You’re a true team player and captain, driving the daily operations of The Student Hotel Vienna. You oversee the implementation of operational procedures including conversions. You manage and lead your teams towards quality and great financial results. You are that enthusiastic leader, who helps out and direct the teams to build, maintain and develop a vibrant community. To do so, you are commercially driven and able to implement new ideas.

At the same time you're down to earth, managing a P&L and ensuring processes and efficiency are part of the daily routine. You are driven to support and challenge the brand propositions through sharing best practice revenue generation, profit conversion, guest satisfaction and team member retention.

Our unique hybrid hotel concept offers student accommodation as well as long and short stay options for students-at-heart, together with epic facilities and exciting co-working spaces. You can already find The Student Hotel in the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, France and Spain. And with still to be opened properties in Madrid, Barcelona and Toulouse, our unique hospitality concept is truly taking root in the heart of Europe.

**What You’ll Do**:

- You’ll develop the business plan and implement strategies where key hotel metrics are identified, communicated and delivered.
- You’ll maximize overall performance; sales and profit, brand awareness, brand reputation, business opportunities, team productivity and performance, and above all guest love.
- You’ll own the full P&L; setting budget, managing actuals and assuring forecasts, controlling and reporting on all areas of the business.
- You’ll review and optimize business activities, processes, and ways of working driving financial performance and adding value.
- You’ll partner with key stakeholders, effectively managing and reviewing the life cycle of the team, fostering a culture of trust, collaboration, inclusion, guest-focus and fun.
- You’ll ensure adherence and compliance to all legislation and due diligence requirements delivered and documented for internal and external audit.
- You'll always strive to deliver the highest levels of the community service experience.

**Requirements**:**Who You Are**:

- You are a fun and charming, all around nice person who believes that creating value for customers is crucial for the success of your hotel.
- You have at least 3 years of experience as a General Manager or in a similar role in a hotel, co-living/pbsa or resort.
- You know Vienna like the back of your hand and have the local knowledge to drive success.
- You have affinity or experience with hybrid hospitality or community members based brands and business models.
- You demonstrate excellent leadership skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style.
- You are committed to exceptional guest service with a passion for the service industry.
- You have connection and experience in working with different target groups; from corporate to students.
- You’re able to find creative solutions, offering advice and recommendations.
- Integrity is one of your core values and you have the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy.
- You’re fluent in English and German. Know any other languages? Great The more the better
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You're legally allowed to work in Austria.
