HPE Communication and Media Solution (CMS) Sales Organization is looking for an Account Principle with in-depth understanding of selling telecommunication solutions.
CMS is part of Communication Technology Group (CTG) with focus on the Communications, Media and Entertainment customer segments in HPE. CMS business is uniquely positioned providing industry specific rich solutions.
The organization of CMS is built around capabilities in six solution domains: Mobile Core & 5G, Orchestration, Fulfillment & Revenue Intelligence, Assurance, Digital Identity and Digital domain.
This is an innovative organization focused on selling software as a service and fully aligned with overall HPE as-a-service Strategy.
In a typical day as a Account Principal for HPE Communications & Media Solutions, you would
- Manage and develop the HPE CMS business in Austria and CEE targeted accounts.
- Promote CMS software and solutions to support customers to operate and orchestrate reliable services in hybrid and virtualized environments;
- Build a broad network of industry relationships and contacts in targeted accounts and countries
- Capture sales opportunities to increase the company’s market share in accordance with CMS strategy and execute on sales forecast
- Set directions for business development and solution replication
- Creates and grows reference customers
- Work with HPE sales, CMS presales and delivery teams;
- Collaborate with virtual team to orchestrate and sell complex customer solutions
- Sell software and solutions by leading the sales process and ensuring competitive value proposition
- Establish a professional, working, and consultative, relationship with the client, including the C- level by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs
- Deliver on assigned quota metrics and target to over-achieve the set quota with quarter KPIs.
Your Education & Experience
- Knowledge of the Telco market and digital transformation journey
- Being part of Account team selling into the Communication Providers’ segment
- Experience in working with System Integrators and Solution Consulting Companies
- Experience in working with Network Equipment Providers
- Partner engagement experience
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity, and ability to work in multiple geographies
- Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota diversity of business customer, and higher level customer interface
- Demonstrating consultative solution selling and business development skills
- Demonstrates leadership and initiative in successfully driving sales - prospecting, negotiating and closing deals
- Project management skills
- University of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
