Manager, Product Marketing will be responsible for the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for our software across different markets. You will operate at the intersection of marketing, product and sales, supporting the global marketing and product strategy.
This position preferably is a hybrid between Vienna (HQ)/remote with the option of 100% remote.
**What you will be doing**:
- ** Go-to-Market Strategy**: Define and own the go-to-market strategy for new markets and new product/feature launches. Develop integrated and localized marketing plans in collaboration with Product, Marketing, and Sales.
- ** Market Research**:Acquire and possess in-depth knowledge of our target markets, segments, buyer personas, competitors, and partners through market research. Educate the company on market requirements, trends, and competitor capabilities.
- ** Positioning**: Build relationships with customer teams, as well as direct relationships with prospects and customers, identifying their challenges, and articulating the value provided by our solutions. Develop compelling positioning and differentiation used as a guide to develop effective messaging.
- ** Product Messaging**: Optimize our value proposition and convert it to relevant product messaging & positioning, translating technical product messaging into effective marketing messages for inbound & outbound marketing materials.
- ** Product Education**: Craft engaging audience-specific product marketing content, including case studies, solution briefs, web content, presentations, data sheets, white papers, buyer guides and sales tutorials that can be utilized globally.
- ** (Digital) Marketing**: Work closely with the marketing team to define and execute online (digital, social media) and offline (fairs, event) marketing activities related to product strategy.
- ** Marketing Strategy**: Possess the ability to keep a bigger picture view of marketing strategies, establish a framework for product-related content that aligns with the broader marketing and content strategies.
- ** Goal Setting**: Support the team in setting clear goals and key results. Ensure that those are communicated and visible across the company and progress is shared regularly.
**What you will need to succeed**:
- Proven experience being pro-active, self-directed and working with mínimal supervision
- Able to coordinate across many teams and perform in fast-movingstartup environment.
- Excellent communicator with proven ability to convey complex ideasin written, presentation, and spoken formats
- Strong collaboration experience, ability to influence at multiplelevels, gaining support and trust across the organization to achieve positivebusiness outcomes
- Hands-on, eager to learn new concepts, tools and technologies, andtake on new initiatives
- Team with player that thrives in a global diverse environment
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills
- Ability to deeply understand our customers' beliefs, desires,objections, pain points
- B2B SaaS experience preferred
- Knowledge of energy and/or renewable energy industry is a plus
**Education & experience requirements**:
- Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in product marketing preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus
