Senior Legal Assistant

Administrative management of contracts (database update, monitoring over time...) and Austrian corporate documents
- Acting as contract manager for the maintenance of the records of contracts of the Austrian and Swedish subsidiaries of Valneva SE, in coordination with the other legal assistants or paralegals.
- Drafting and/or review of simple legal documents in English and German, where needed: meeting minutes, simple contracts (notably CDAs), Consulting Agreements.
- Supporting the contracting processes for several functions in coordination with the Director of International Legal Affairs.
- Supporting legal training processes in Vienna.
- Registration of invoices, monitoring of the budget and expenses related to legal department activities.
- Managing the Material Contracts Management process for the above-mentioned subsidiaries, in cooperation with Finance.
- Updating, and maintaining the Legal, Corporate Governance and Commercial Handbooks in coordination with the other legal assistants or paralegal(s) and assisting in the improvement of legal contract processes.
**Requirements**:
- Paralegal qualification or 2-year university diploma in the legal field
- At least 5 years' experience as an administrative or legal assistant in a law firm, specialized in intellectual property law, or in the legal department of a company
- A fluent level (CEFR C1) of professional English (spoken and written)
- Proven ability to establish professional working relationships with colleagues and external Clients
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities while respecting tight deadlines
- Operates with a high degree of accuracy with strong attention to detail
- Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 35.000;
- gross per year based on full-time employment. However our salaries are market oriented and in line with your qualifications and experience.
