**Your duties**:

- Autonomous research and publication activity in the field of Astrophysics; the focus should be on stellar and/or solar astrophysics
- Work in the existing group on stellar and solar astrophysics
- Support in Acquisition of external projects
- Maintain the existing research infrastructure at observatory Lustbühel
- Teaching in the field of astrophysics
- Supervise bachelor theses, master theses and doctorate theses
- Student support and supervision
- Cooperation on organisational and administrative tasks as well as evaluation measures

**Your Profile**:

- Successful relevant publication activity
- Knowledge in the successful acquisition of research projects
- Proof of the didactic skills for independent teaching in the field of astrophysics
- Completed doctorate/PhD in the field of astrophysics
- Enjoys scientific work and dealing with students
- Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English
- German knowledge optional
- Own initiative
- High level of social and communication skills

- The minimum salary as stated in the collective agreement and according to the classification scheme is EUR 60.926,60 gross/year (for full-time employment).
