The Advisors Client Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing the cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. We combine top tier management consulting with our rich data assets, in-house technology, and payment expertise to provide our clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast around the globe, this agile team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base. Key accountabilities of the role
- Lead the Austrian Advisors Client Services team to drive utilization, margin and quality according to current objectives
- Manage cost and revenue budgets in collaboration with the business development sales lead
- Drive change and process improvements across the team
- Provide relevant and value-creating analysis and insight for our clients
- Design well-structured, persuasive and interesting payment strategies, propositions & operating models and deliver them with strong presence
- Lead and motivate multiple engagement teams to produce superior deliverables
- Develop effective working relationships with executive level clients
- Actively engage in business development and thought leadership activities and ensure knowledge, know-how and best practices are shared and leveraged internally to continuously improve quality and productivity
- Manage, lead, coach & motivate consultants as required to ensure optimum consulting team performance
- Support sales and business development activities including lead generation, sales calls, development of client proposals, pricing recommendations and contract closure.
- Develop approaches and solutions gleaned from data driven insights quantifying the value of these opportunities and managing through conceptualization to delivery
- Advance thought leadership agenda through the development of Intellectual Capital and extraction of insights from engagement work
- Actively share tools, methods and best practices across projects

All about you:

- Proven consulting experience at a senior level in a top-rated firm or equivalent in a major financial institution
- Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification. Advanced degree or MBA preferred
- Professional level English language capability
- Strong analytical, interpretive and problem solving skills, including the proven ability to interpret large amounts of data, some of it ambiguous, and translate it into concise rational output that includes recommendations based upon core findings.
- Strong personal presence & communication skills - both interpersonal & written
- Proven ability to build effective networks across organizational and functional boundaries
- Excellent client management & engagement management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven team player, team leader & people manager with proven ability to work with all levels in a highly intellectual, collaborative, and fast paced environment
