As an attractive employer, Erste Group offers interesting career opportunities in an international environment.- Group Corporate Development pioneers, executes, and monitors strategic projects of Erste Group with a focus on mergers & acquisitions and strategic co-operations with insurance and banking partners. Group Strategic Development also monitors the strategic environment of Erste Group, specifically the financial and operating performance of peer banks.- Your Tasks- Support the preparation of presentations and of other materials for M&A projects in the banking sector and for strategic co-operations with a focus on bancassurance
- Support financial analysis, financial modelling, and valuation exercises for M&A and for peer reviews
- Support the execution of M&A transactions during the due diligence phase and during other stages of the M&A process.
- Support regular analysis and reporting on financial results of peer companies as well as for ad-hoc projects with strategic relevance- Your Background- Currently enrolled at a University/University of Applied Sciences with a business, financial, or technical focus
- Fluent in English, knowledge of German is of advantage
- Excellent skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Good communicator, able to work independently with various units in the holding company and in the local banks in CEE as well as good understanding of financial reporting, specifically of banks; experience in financial analysis and valuation is of advantage.- Our Offer- Exciting and challenging part-time internship (19.25h/week) as of January 2024 until December 2024
