SALES MANAGER HEMATOLOGY (M/F/D)
Location: Home-office based
For our local operating company with base in Vienna we are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager (M/F/d) in Hematology. In this important role your goal is to maximize the growth of the regional Hematology brand portfolio.
- YOUR responsibilities & YOUR impact:
- Accountable for developing and executing the account plans with the sales team in collaboration with the medical team to achieve the committed sales targets with the agreed resources
- Leading the sales team within the business unit to deliver on sales targets by developing a high performing team with deep TA knowledge and excellent customer interaction and selling skills through training and in-field coaching (about 50%).
- Leading the optimal structuring of sales territories, as well as the territory target setting and monitoring to operate the sales incentive scheme. Contributing to the development and improvement of sales incentive schemes.
- Leading the development and execution of the account-plans as part of the cross-functional stakeholder engagement plan to drive competitive advantage with driving external focus of the team.
- Identifying training needs and plans to address them according to the competency model with specific focus on knowledge and skill-building of the sales team
- Tracking the performance of the team through best in class KPI analytics
- Championing an omnichannel approach, Customer Journey Excellence and continuous improvement of sales team effectiveness
- Developing and managing partnerships with external key stakeholders to drive competitive advantage and Janssen’s reputation
- Contributing to the Country Value Teams with deep customer, competitor and market insights, with strategic input to brand strategies and tactics, and by leading successful sales projects.
- Driving accountability, collaboration, effective decision-making and empowerment to the lowest level possible
- Accountability for full compliance of all CVT and sales activities with laws and J&J regulations. Role modeling our JnJ Credo.
**Qualifications**:
We would love to hear from YOU, if you have:
- 5+ years of relevant work experience and demonstrated track record in pharmaceutical sales execution and management
- Academic degree in business and/or science considered as favorable
- Pharmaceutical Representative as per Austrian regulations
- Track record of leading successful sales teams in a highly competitive environment is an advantage
- Demonstrated capabilities leading and coaching individuals to high performance and in developing talent
- Strong Project Management Skills
- Positive dissatisfaction and aspiration to challenge the status quo and beat the odds
- Customer centricity and strong external focus
- Effective collaboration and strong networking skills leading to long-lasting business relationships
- Fluency in English and German required
- Willingness to travel up to 60%
