**Head of Corporate Development & Strategic Steering (f/m/x)**:
The Corporate Development & Strategic Steering team is responsible for the development and setting of RBI Group’s strategic direction as well as heavily involved in its implementation which also includes capital allocation. Further focus of the department is the initiation and execution of M&A projects as a result of the strategy process including integration.#full-time

**Your role at RBI**:

- Leadership and overall responsibility for projects of strategic importance as approved by the management of RBI Group
- Support the CEO, management board and senior management in the decision-making process
- Lead a team of highly skilled experts
- Perform the annual Group strategy review, Group portfolio analysis and develop strategic options to increase shareholder value
- Develop and implement methodology for strategic assessment of the RBI Group and RBI Group’s units performance
- Prepare, steer and lead projects of strategic importance with focus on M&A, divestments, restructuring and PMI
- Frequent interaction with RBI Group Management, as well as other management members within the Group as well as colleagues in departments such as Finance and Legal
- Managing relationships with advisory firms, legal advisors, investment banks and representatives of supervising authorities
- Budget responsibility of the department including its direct costs, in addition to project cost centers

***Your core competencies**:

- An advanced degree in finance, business administration, law or related areas
- 10 years+ experience in M&A and strategy, preferably in the financial sector; management experience being an advantage
- Profound knowledge about the business fields and markets RBI Group is active in, including macro-economic and political developments
- A high degree of independent decision making within the scope of the projects is required
- Ability to lead larger projects and to select and structure a team fulfilling the project tasks
- High analytical skills and unbiased approach to tasks
- Ability to professionally interact with top management of the group to support their work
- Ability to realize and analyze the side effects of measures and activities within the business activities including legal and supervisory effects
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills in a multi-cultural and very senior environment
- Excellent English language skills are essential, any other languages are a plus
