The role of Value & Access Manager is to maximize market access of Amgen’s product portfolio, by increasing the awareness about high standards of treatment and value proposition, through building strong relationships and interacting with relevant hospital stakeholders, retail partners, sick funds and chambers. Value & Access Manager contributions are also vital for the success of Amgen’s future product launches in an evolving environment. The role is field-based and reports directly to Value, Access & Policy Director.

**What you will do**_ _
- Maximize product access in the managed area Styria, Carinthia, Salzburg, Tyrol, and Vorarlberg
- Develop and maintain strong partnership with key stakeholders on regional level
- Establish and maintain strategic and trusting relationships with local payers, hospital pharmacists, and regional policy makers
- Identify and segment key regional stakeholders and define individual needs
- Continuously analyze and monitor current and future regional as well as local pricing and market access landscape to derive strategic insights for market access activities
- Provide ongoing support to internal stakeholders on market access and reimbursement issues
- Gather market insights and share relevant market information with cross-functional teams
- Proactively monitor and communicate key trends as well as networks critical to market access in coordination with Value, Access & Policy Director to relevant internal stakeholders as a basis for discussion and possible action planning

**What we expect of you**

**Qualifications**
- University degree ideally in a Life Sciences/Health discipline
- >5 years of pharma industry experience e.g. as Sales Representative, Medical Science Liaison or Key Account Manager
- Good working knowledge of English, both in oral and written communication
- Understanding of payer and reimbursement environment
- Already established relationships with local decision makers and influencers will be desirable
