As a (Senior) Market Access & Pricing Manager Austria (M/F/d), you will be responsible as a single point of contact for market access, pricing and reimbursement for Viatris products in Austria for internal and external stakeholders for the full portfolio (Generics, OTC and RX-brands).
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Ensuring high quality development and implementation of local Market Access, Pricing, and Reimbursement Strategies of new and already launched products
- Developing strategies for or to improve Market Access in cooperation with Global/Regional Market Access and local Commercial teams
- Leading pricing & reimbursement for the new launches, optimize price & reimbursement for marketed established products
- Interacting with governmental payer authorities, acting as single contact to authorities (like Dachverband der Sozialversicherungsträger)
- Cooperating with and represent Viatris in pharma associations (Pharmig, Generikaverband)
- Developing optimized pricing strategies and tactics in alignment with local Commercial & Finance Teams, local Price Committee and Global Pricing
- Responsible for internal price process and accuracy of internal price databases (Global Pricing, Finance, Forecast tools) as well as maintaining external price data bases
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
- Master’s Degree in Life Science, Pharmacy, Medicine or Economics
- 10 years of Experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a strong understanding of Austrian healthcare policy, pricing and reimbursement system, Health Technology Assessment, and pricing decision-making processes
- Proven experience in generating market access for generics
- Excellent strategic, analytical, and operational skills
- Fluent in German (written and oral) and good English
The gross annual salary is at least € 50.000.
