**Our business**

**Your role**:

- You are analyzing and planning international refined product crack spreads/prices and indicator refining margins on a short-, mid
- and long-term basis for Europe, Middle East and Asia (MEA) region
- You set up of new historical data analysis model for refined products cracks/prices for forecasting purposes including resulting refining margins to ensure state of the art forward planning as well as introducing a consultant evaluation tool to ensure improved forecast accuracy for all Executive Board relevant information including product and petchem price indications with resulting margins according to OMV yield structure
You are contributing to commodity planning by securing high efficiency and accuracy by systematic benchmarking as well as clear structuring of processes (market trends, own price assessment, define the key strategic market drivers)
- Introduction and implementation of additional routine long-term fundamental and pricing view for a better support of strategic and investment decisions as well as conducting analysis on market fundamentals and providing key inputs for operational and strategic planning as well as providing ad hoc support for several departments on a regular basis
- You expand Market Intelligence expertise on Europe, Middle East and Asia (MEA) refined product fundamentals, its cross-continental dynamics, trade flows, EU/MEA refinery landscape and provide Downstream project support as well as collaborating with various energy research providers in order to ensure the market analysis contracted covers OMV’s requirements and managing various data provider aspects (including negotiations and contractual aspects)
- You are keeping up to date with pricing methodology and implications of pricing changes for different regional hubs as well as the impact this might have on the resulting refining economics
- You provide reporting of all relevant market information on weekly/monthly basis to senior management and selected business units on fundamental drivers and crack spread/price data; provide relevant reporting on daily/weekly/monthly to internal operational business units on fundamental drivers and crack spread/price data

**Your profile**:

- You have a Master Degree
- You have minimum 7 years of relevant work experience
- You have experience in the energy market with a good understanding of the overall transition of the energy landscape and strong Oil Downstream/Refining business know-how
- Advanced statistics and/or data science skills including solid knowledge in statistical programing languages and data bases
- You have strong communication, moderation and presentation skills as well as strong networking skills
- You have distinct analytical skills, independent working style and innovative mind-set
- You have excellent English and proven IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
