**Our business**

**Your role**:

- You monitor market & industry trends impacting the oil & gas industry (globally) and the old business model and support in the development of an intelligence system for green field topics (e.g. Wind, solar, and water, bioenergy and geothermal energy, nuclear)
- You build up a Database in the field of Competitive Landscape in the Renewable Markets and conduct CI analysis for sustainable energy companies (either in the old O&G industry or outside as power companies, start-ups, )
- You lead desk-based research and partner outreach to understand the status of Sustainable Energies in OMVs core regions (Europe, Middle East/Asia and US);
- You contribute in building up the Market Intelligence Dashboard for OMV-Group incorporating the new “green fields”
- You manage sustainable energies projects and studies in close alignment with Industrial Sales & Marketing (M&T) as well as with Refining (New Business Implementation)
- You support the FDOP project with in-depth analysis on market trends and policy trends in the area of sustainable energies (close alignment with Market team, IGR, respective business)
- You support the Advisor of Process Management & Data Analytics in building up models and IT tools for the emerging topics as provide support for the MTP planning assumption process
- You build a strong network with stakeholders from the M&T and the Refining division as well as the Upstream Low Carbon Business department, Borealis and Petrom counterparts and act as single interface to the New Business Implementation Dpt (Refinery)
- You actively exchange and support of the CI team and counterparts in Borealis and Petrom

**Your profile**:

- You have a Master Degree
- You have minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
- You are well developed understanding of markets and competitors
- You have Hands-on experience with different models and tools is required, familiarity with macroeconomic and financial market data sources is a an advantage
- You have experience with statistical software (e.g., EViews, Stata, Python, R) and advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills desired
- You are exceptionally detail-oriented with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data, summarize key concepts and clearly articulate relevant conclusions
- You have excellent communication (verbal and written) skills, with the ability to prepare executive level presentations
- You have strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills. Inquisitive nature, ability to ask right questions and escalate issues
- You are a self-starter, able to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with a proven track record of execution against deliverables
- You have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with frequently changing priorities and to meet deadlines under pressure
