We are looking to recruit a flexible and motivated **Material Planner (m/d/f),** for our site in Vienna.

**General activities**
- Supervise the MIS for projects, reorder parts if necessary.
- Participate in meetings/agreements (e.g. internal kick-off meeting of the respective project, shop floor meeting) with interfaces (e.g. PM, production, work preparation).
- Create demand forecast and transfer to interfaces (usually supplier), consumption/invoice control (e.g. target/actual comparison). Continuously expand and optimise the supply system for projects.
- Audit-proof documentation of all purchasing processes
- Ensure KPI targets are met

**Special and General Tasks**
- Create logistics specification (e.g. packaging, delivery type) according to templates/ specifications (e.g. delivery note, packing lists) and transfer to interfaces (e.g. purchasing).
- Implement long-term inventory strategies (e.g. procurement timing, quantity). Participate in strategic material stock planning for modernisation/accident/spare parts orders.
- Carry out six-monthly identification of components (usually 'slow-mover reduction'), plan, propose measures (e.g. sale, scrapping, retention), in consultation with interfaces (e.g. the supervisor(s)).
- Monitor MRP run
- Define logistic flows

**Responsibilities**

- Define and deploy purchasing strategy
- Place POs to suppliers
- Expediting

**Knowledge & Experience**
- Completed specialist vocational training of at least three years (commercial, technical)
- Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
- SAP knowledge (MM module)
- Independent, goal-oriented work and negotiating skills
- Sociability, ability to work in a team, flexibility and resilience
