In this position you will be an integral part of our global Legal Team, reporting to the VP, Associate General Counsel and working in close partnership with your legal team colleagues with specialized expertise. We are looking for a legal generalist to be the main point of contact for our 1,200-person R&D organization and be responsible for providing and coordinating advice across a wide range of topics.

Dynatrace is the global market leader in Application Performance Management. We also support our customers with Infrastructure and Digital Experience monitoring and enable Self-Driving IT through monitoring based on artificial intelligence.

**Your role**
- Provide advice and support for relevant corporate policies and processes, such as those related to participation in open-source initiatives, protection of confidential information and trade secrets, data sharing, employment terms, workplace safety and external communications.
- Work with product development and delivery teams to provide practical legal risk mitigation strategies for products across multiple jurisdictions, including the development of marketplace terms and review of product-related documentation.
- Draft, review, provide advice on, manage or negotiate, complex contracts including for the organization, as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- University Degree in Law (preferably from a German or Austrian University)
- 7+ years working experience, with at least 5 years as in-house practicing attorney within a global software/IT company preferably in a generalist or regional counsel role
- Ability to work both independently and in a team, with judgment and experience to engage and escalate issues appropriately
- Organized, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple, high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment
- Diplomatic and effective communicator who can break down complex projects and communicate those to all stakeholders and keep them up to date
- Solution-oriented, with excellent analytical and organizational skills and quick comprehension
- Excellent language skills, both written and oral in German and English***

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 65 000 gross per year based on full-time employment (38.5 h/week). We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
