**Job Title**: Senior Legal Counsel - Renewable Energy - Austria and C&I

**Overview**:
We are a renewable energy company based in Vienna, Austria, committed to providing sustainable energy solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Lawyer with experience in energy law, EPC, and project finance to join our team for the role of Senior Legal Counsel for Team Austria and the International C&I team

Tasks

**Position Summary**:
As a Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing legal support and advice to our company in various aspects of law, including corporate, EPC, M&A and project finance for the Austrian market as well as for the international C&I team. You will work closely with the management team of both teams as well as the General Counsel. You will be responsible for the entire legal aspects of both teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide legal advice and support to the company in all aspects of energy regulatory matters, M&A, corporate, EPC and project finance
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, and legal documents
- Hire and manage external counsel
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and mitigate legal risks
- Negotiate agreements with partners, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Participate in the development and implementation of renewable energy projects, joint ventures, industrial cooperation, M&A projects and other strategic projects
- Conduct legal research and analysis as required
- Collaborate with other functions to support company objectives

- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a lawyer in the field of energy law, EPC, and project finance - Excellent understanding of relevant legal frameworks and regulations
- Experience in drafting and negotiating complex contracts and agreements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Austrian law degree
