Job Title: Senior Accountant Alpine

Location: Vienna (hybrid)

**Job Description**:
Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and consolidate month-end close process for affiliates, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee consolidation of financial data for different entities and manage treasury forecasting.
- Develop strategies to optimize working capital, improve cash flow, and oversee balance sheet accounts.
- Establish and maintain internal control processes to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor finance support teams, foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in a senior accounting role working with transversal teams. Knowledge on Transfer Price very desirable.
- Robust knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and tax regulations in the Benelux markets. It will be a very strong advantage to have experience in statutory accounting and taxes in other markets from the region.
- Strong team player with excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, deal with ambiguity and work in matrix organizations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software, ERP, and Microsoft Excel.
- Fluency in English and German is required. Other European languages are a plus.
