Loan Syndication is responsible for the structuring and syndication of loan financings group-wide for Large Corporates. It also acts as the interface between loan related product groups and the loan market providing syndicate and up-to-date market information as well as sales support during primary and secondary sell-down.

The principle objective of this position is to originate and deliver structured loan facilities addressing the client, investor an ERSTE Bank’s objectives.

**Your Tasks**:

- As a Loan Originator & Structurer in Loan Syndication, you will be responsible for covering selected corporates in Austria and CEE in a focused and coordinated fashion, wining and executing loan mandates for these clients. You will pro-actively cooperate with the client executives in the acquisition of these mandates
- In a professional team of 7 people located in Vienna, you will prepare and present high-standard financing proposals to senior client representatives/corporate clients
- You will manage and co-ordinate transactions through all aspects of pitching, structuring and execution as well as support LC in their internal approval process meaning structuring terms & conditions, negotiate and execute loan documentation for syndicated and club style loan facilities. Draft offer letters, term sheets, mandate letters. Draft Info Memos in cooperation with sector team
- You support Loan Syndication Expert on more complex transactions
- You are familiar with LMA loan documentation standards

**Your Background**:

- University degree in business administration desirable
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the loan or bond market and/or client management
- Knowledge of Euro loan documentation standards; Understanding of market trends and their potential impact on structuring trends
- You know the loan market and you have existing investor/client contacts in Austria and CEE
- Presentation and negotiation skills; Proficiency in PowerPoint & Word
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication abilities
- Cultural adaptability and awareness of cultural differences
- Proven ability to formulate targets and achieve results
- Show Flexibility
- Fluent in English and German; an additional CEE language (core Erste Bank region) is very helpful
