We are looking for a Network Specialist to join our IT team and take responsibility for the development, maintenance, and operation of the LAN, WAN, and WLAN networks including Firewalls and network security technologies for the whole Semperit Group. The Network Specialist will work in a team of specialists with the goal of guarantee smooth network operations and further develop the current infrastructure. He will align with internal customers and external suppliers to identify business drivers and customer requirements and ensure that the network design is aligned with the long-term business strategy.

**Responsibilities**:

- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of the LAN, WLAN, WAN networks, Firewalls and other security-related technologies
- Creation and implementation of global NAC network access control policies, maintenance and further implementation of the related infrastructure at all company sites, in both LAN and WLAN infrastructure, including project work.
- Creation and maintenance of policies, authorization concepts, technical documentations
- Strong focus on 2nd and 3rd Level Support and continuous improvement of LAN, WLAN, WAN networks and Firewall and security infrastructure
- Coordination between internal customers and external suppliers for planning and delivery of change request and projects
- Identify business drivers and customer requirements
- Alignment of the network design to the long-term business strategy
- smooth collaboration with colleagues in the IT-Infrastructure team, both local and global
- Evaluation of new technologies and verification of possible business benefits

**Requirements**:

- HTL or FH degree in IT or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in developing, deploying, and managing network environments (LAN, WLAN, and WAN, Firewalling, NAC)
- Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP networking and routing
- Excellent knowledge in defining, implementing, and operating network segmentations
- Very good understanding of WAN technologies like MPLS, L2 connections, SD-WAN
- Good English language skills
- Communicative and willing to interact with customers
- Agile and Lean thinking mindset, ability and willingness to adapt to a constantly changing environment
- Teamwork experience in working with remote teams
- Independent, responsible, transparent, structured work style
- Technical documentation skills
- ITIL v3 Foundation certification would be an advantage
- Experience in working in IT-Support with an incident and request management tool

Gross monthly salary: from €3,500.00 (according to Austrian collective agreement, full-time), overpayment possible depending on professional qualifications and experience.
