Desktop Support Specialist

**Responsibilities**:

- Performs computer “Break / Fix” support and installation, add, move or change requirements for peripherals, “Smart Hands” and Server / Networking support.
- Completes all assigned calls with professionalism and technical expertise, providing quality customer service and support for designated equipment.
- Monitors assigned service calls to ensure quality and service level goals are achieved in a timely manner.
- Completes all administrative duties correctly and promptly, including updating of tickets in ESPs or Customer’s call management system.
- Takes ownership of issues and systems and, only as a last resort, escalates problems to the appropriate next level of support when necessary.
- In addition, can perform all Level 1 & 2 support requirements.
- Provides support to L1 & L2 Desktop Engineers including Smart Hands guidance.
- Proactively advises on possible service improvements.
- Evaluates impact and risk to other systems and operating platforms to ensure overall improvements are delivered.
- Proficiency in installing, upgrading, building, repairing, configuring, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and preventative maintenance.
- Microsoft or CompTIA Certifications (Hardware and Software).
- Server and network experience.
- Experience with primary and peripheral computer and networking hardware, including Smart Hands support.
- Up to 5 years’ direct PC and laptop hardware service experience.
- Proficiency in desktop support including knowledge of current Windows operating systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues using good deductive reasoning skills.
- Can support computer networks with assistance from a specialist network engineer.
- Able to lift/move computer equipment.
- Good written and oral communication skills with customers and management.
- Strong customer service ethos.

Pay: 200.00€ - 230.00€ per day
