**Group Data Protection Coordinator (f/m/x)**

**Your core tasks as**:
**Group Data Protection Coordinator (GDPC)**:

- Manage Group compliance with data protection laws and policies through business processes and Group companies
- Evaluate, inform and advise on data protection laws and policies
- Update and maintain the group data protection policies & procedures and templates
- Monitor compliance with data protection laws and policies; define controls
- Oversee the maintenance of records of data processing activities required to demonstrate data protection compliance
- Supervise and advise on data protection impact assessments
- Manage a program of awareness-raising and training to enhance compliance and to foster a data privacy culture
- Advise in case of questions regarding data protection clauses in customer terms and supplier contracts
- Provide a data incident response and data breach notification procedure
- Consult group companies and esp. IT with regard to data processing agreements
- Support the local data protection officers (DPOs) and DPCs in performing their tasks.
- Provide training material and support local DPCs with their training efforts
- Report to Group Management

**Local Data Protection Coordinator (DPC) for the Head Office**:

- Single point of contact for all data protection issues for employees, local data protection authorities
- Inform, advise and train all employees
- Advise departments in all GDPR-relevant issues (e.g. IT-projects)
- Negotiate and conclude data processing agreements and carry out data protection risk/impact assessments
- Manage data incidents and requests and the records of processing activities
- Monitor compliance with data protection laws and policies

**Requirements and Qualifications**:

- Legal background, degree in Law, preferable with specialization in IT-law or equivalent
- Min. six years of professional experiences in a similar role (e.g. at a group legal department, responsible for data protection issues incl. GDPR in a group). Alternatively, a very practice-oriented person from a law firm could be considered under certain circumstances as well.
- Special trainings in data protection incl. GDPR and/or certification as a data protection officer are advantageous
- Strong knowledge of the data protection legislation including GDPR and IT-law incl. IT license and service agreements
- Knowledge or willingness to learn the cybersecurity risks and other information security standards
- Ability to make good judgements regarding data privacy risks and to prioritize resources and activities around managing those risks
- General broad knowledge on legal affairs
- Know-how in international (cross border) contract and company law
- Proficiency in English, fluency in German is mandatory
- Very good MS Office skills
