**Our business**

**Your role**:

- You support the GDPO to ensure compliance with European and national statutory requirements in relation to data protection (EU General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) and monitor compliance with data protection laws.
- You provide high quality and timely legal advice on all matters of data protection and IT related topics.
- You support GDPO in planning and coordinating trainings and awareness measures OMV Group employees.
- You support the GDPO in revising OMV data protection standards and regulations (corresponding to the IT security management system).
- You support GDPO in responding to alleged violations of data protection issues, detect offenses, develop corrective actions and ensure proper reporting and findings (e.g. Data Subject Rights).
- You contribute to maintain centrally the internal records of processing activities (“Verzeichnis von Verarbeitungstätigkeiten”) for Austrian OMV group companies.
- You contribute to improve and enhance OMV’s Data Protection Management System “DSMS”.
You monitor and instruct group-internal and external service providers who process personal data on behalf of the company.
- You support the GDPO in managing any measure in relation to data-breach scenarios as required under the GDPR including incident prevention measures, emergency measures including the entire communication to respective parties (i.e. employees and authorities)

**Your profile**:

- You have a master’s degree in legal, Compliance or Audit
- You have minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
- You have basic understanding of IT controls, data protection requirements, data privacy requirements and how to interpret GDPR requirements in policy statements
- You have the ability to interact with system owners to align and maintain defined controls
- You have an understanding of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in the information security field
- You have good communication skills to management including technical and business writing, documentation and presentation skills
- You are fluent in English as business language
- You have a high level of understanding of the interrelationships between data protection and IT (IT basics on hardware & software, Web technologies, cloud computing, encryption & cyber risks as well as technical and organizational measures)
