**Business Unit Head Rx**

**Your key responsibilities**:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage P&L to meet Net sales and OpInc aspiration
- Smart resource allocation within P&L and across brands
- Continuously optimize gross to net
- Understand, monitor and drive product performance on nano brick level
- Develop capabilities in sales, marketing, analytics of team to next level
- Guide marketers to ensure deep product understanding and best-in class activities to support market growth
- Foster launch excellence
- Close monitor and maximize call impact of sales team and continuously review and adjust performance KPIs
- Closely interact with Commercial Excellence and Commercial unit to maximize impact across channels
- Develop and implement strategy to optimize portfolio and close monitor go to market strategy
- Develop and implement strategy to grow non-promoted portfolio
- Continuously challenge and adapt processes supporting lean, smart day by day work
- Lead change inclusively implementing new BU setup
- Role model values and behaviors fostering an unbossed, curious and inspired culture
- Be active member of local leadership team and close interact with peers
- Closely interact with Cluster II and Region Europe marketing, sales and functions
- Develop and exchange talents
- Drive cross country collaboration and actively share and adopt best practices

**Minimum requirements**

**What you’ll bring to the role**:
**Essential**:

- University degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or Natural Science
- Further Marketing qualifications are advantageous
- strong conceptual and strategic thinker
- Hands-on experience with marketing and sales in pharmaceutical industry
- Proven success in managing big teams and P&L
- Dynamic leader, proven leadership, change management and people development skills
- Experienced negotiator and KOL contact
- Fluent in English language
- Seasoned presenter, top PC skills
- Minimum of 8 years in pharmaceutical industry, minimum 3 years with P&L responsibility
- Knowledge of Austrian Pharma-Market

**In addition to a market-competitive base salary, we offer an attractive incentive program, a modern company pension scheme, learning and development options as well as worldwide career opportunities within the Novartis group. For this position the minimum salary is € 98.662,76 /year (on a full time basis). The actual salary will be significantly higher, as we strive to maintain a competitive position in the market and consider your previous experience, qualifications and individual competencies.
