**About the job**:
- The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Partner Sales Executive to join us in Austria. In this role, you will develop and drive Red Hat’s relationships with our partners and alliances throughout Austria, focusing on Red Hat’s portfolio of offerings within a defined set of Red Hat Key accounts. As such you're part of the direct sales organization. You'll play a vital role in developing individual go to market strategies and connecting our sales organization with the partner ecosystem on the account level. You will have the ability to develop new architectural designs based on Red Hat's technology and adopt the end customer strategies. You will also develop new and existing relationships, mainly with the development and architecture teams of our partners, and maximize the opportunities across the entire Red Hat’s portfolio. You’ll work cooperatively with the Ecosystem Team and the technology-focused sales teams to ensure proper customer - partner governance, while taking responsibility for focus partners and supporting the growth of Red Hat’s emerging technology business with these partners. As a Partner Sales Executive, you are highly motivated with the ability to make things happen and connect and cooperate with associates across the region. Ideally, you should also have good technological understanding, business development expertise, and great communication skills. This role should preferably be based in the Viennese area.**What you will do**:
- Build strategic partner relationships to develop the system integrator (SI) business across the Red Hat business
- Collaborate with other teams as required to meet the sales team goals and objectives
- Coordinate work on proposals and quotes for specific solutions to partners
- Plan, attend and run specific exhibitions
- Work with internal stakeholders on a local and global level to enable our partners to actively promote sales and marketing activities
- Interact tightly with strategic/key account managers to build up a joint vision and account plan
**What you will bring**:
- Experience working with partners and key accounts at the same time, connecting the abilities of our partner ecosystem with the requirements of our key accounts to build solutions that help our customers to succeed in their markets
- Motivated with the ability to work with a broad range of internal stakeholders
- Business knowledge of key sectors in the enterprise market
- Proven experience entering new markets with a partner-focused approach
- Understanding of how partners work and how to capture the interest of large local and global partners for different routes to market
- 5+ years of experience with channel sales and enablement
- Understanding of common cloud technologies from Red Hat, AWS, Microsoft, Google, Oracle, IBM or SAP is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in German and English language
- Willingness to travel across the country
