The Service Management and Controls department provides the core processes as well as operates the Monitoring and Observability Competence Center. Our goal is to support the IT Operations landscape by ensuring efficient, effective, and compliant processes, while delivering advanced monitoring services and consulting. The Technical and Operational Monitoring Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and performance of our monitoring systems and ensuring security and system efficiency through various technical tasks.

**What to do**:

- Manage and maintain the monitoring and observability systems, ensuring they meet quality, security, and performance standards.
- Perform regular patching of systems and software to ensure security and compliance.
- Conduct security reviews, identify vulnerabilities, and implement mitigations to enhance system security.
- Onboard new solutions and services into the monitoring systems, including firewalls, network equipment, and load balancers via SNMP.
- Onboard and configure Linux servers within the monitoring infrastructure.
- Collaborate with network and security teams to ensure seamless integration and visibility of all network components.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends in monitoring, observability, and system administration, and recommend necessary upgrades and changes.
- Analyze complex technical requirements and develop simple, effective solutions to support team objectives with speed and accuracy.
- Assist in the implementation of best practices for system monitoring, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Provide consulting and support to stakeholders on monitoring projects and initiatives.
- Foster knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team to build expertise in the Monitoring and Observability domains.

- A completed education (Technical university and/or experience in the bank IT environment).
- Experience with various monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Zabbix, ELK, Prometheus) and their ecosystem components, including metrics, log monitoring, visualization, and traces.
- Solid background in system administration, with specific experience in Linux server environments.
- Proven experience in patch management and system security review and mitigation processes.
- Familiarity with SNMP for firewall, network, and load balancer onboarding.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Encourages sharing of ideas and knowledge throughout the team, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
- Excellent command of English.
