About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Operations Specialist to join our team in Vienna. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in finance and operations, who is passionate about working in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support VIG insurance companies with the installation and enhancement of Group-wide SAP systems, including FPSL, NewGL, BW, SEM-BCS, and other systems.
  • Participate in the groupwide S/4 Hana Transformation on the business side, ensuring successful implementation and integration.
  • Coordinate and describe requests related to finance, providing support throughout the request life cycle, from requisition notes to acceptance testing.
  • Support and lead Group companies through Group reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Liaise with various specialist departments, fostering effective collaboration and communication.
  • Involvement in various finance-related projects, with a focus on SAP, driving innovation and process improvement.
  • Ensure fulfilment of user acceptance tests (UATs) and related documentation for the implementation and modification of the UAT strategy.
  • Ongoing process optimisation and identification of corresponding potential for further enhancement.
About You
  • A relevant, completed degree in business informatics, finance and accounting, or a similar field.
  • Relevant professional experience as an interface function between business and IT.
  • Profound knowledge and experience in working with SAP systems, ideally with S/4 HANA.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills in an international working environment.
  • Reliability and high ability to work under pressure, with an independent and responsible approach.
  • Very good knowledge of written and spoken English; knowledge of German is an advantage but not a requirement.

  • The monthly minimum salary according to the collective agreement is EUR 3,138.19 gross, based on full-time employment (37.5 hours/week).
