**Head of Communications (f/m/d), Sandoz ComOps, Vienna, Austria**

Our goal is to improve patients' access to healthcare services by developing and marketing novel, cost-effective approaches that address previously unmet medical needs - we serve Austria.
- We are filling the position of Head of Communications and are looking for a dynamic, open, experienced and practice-oriented personality for our internal and external communications.**Your key responsibilities**:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Developing, implementing and executing internal and external communication strategy and programs for the Austrian Commercial Operations organization
- Executing strategy and programs in all internal communications channels with clear scope/channel (e.g. internal social media, mailings, cycle meetings, management roadshows, staff meetings, townhalls, etc.)
- Managing and updating intranet and new joiner pages (Implementation of new websites, coordination of audit-specific queries, adapting global communication to local needs)
- Supporting the business units in marketing/communications-specific activities (proofreading newsletters, folders, campaigns)
- Management of brand guidelines, coordination with (graphic/text) agencies
- Advising senior management on communication topics, reputation and crisis and issue management
- Spokesperson for media activities regarding the brand Sandoz
- Building relationships with Austrian media representatives (esp. health care, economy)

**Minimum requirements**

**What you’ll bring to the role**:
**Essential**:

- University degree (e.g. marketing / communications, public affairs)
- Profound experience (5 or more years) in communications positions (esp. change, reputation and issue management)
- Experience in the pharma / health care industry preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (German and Englisch)
- Excellent matrix management abilities
- Strong "sense of urgency" and "can-do" attitude

**In addition to a market-competitive base salary, we offer an attractive incentive program, a modern company pension scheme, learning and development options as well as worldwide career opportunities within the Novartis group. In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is € 66.526/year (on a full time basis). The actual salary will be significantly higher, as we strive to maintain a competitive position in the market and consider your previous experience, qualifications and individual competencies.
