Your new responsibilities
- Monthly preparation of consolidated financial statements of ams OSRAM Group
- Analysis of significant changes and their influencing factors on the financial statements
- Communication and information to corporate functions, business untis and auditors; contact person for ad hoc analyzes and reports for management and controlling; communication and discussion of issues with auditors
- Independent development of solution approaches for special accounting topics; cross-functional discussion and coordination with other departments
- Supporting the preparation of internal and external communication (earnings release, financial information, notes,)
- Supporting M&A transactions and ensuring the correctness of accounting and presentation within the consolidated financial statements (i.e. changes within the group hierarchy, integration of newly acquired companies, discontinued operations/asset held for sale,...)
- Working out optimization potential within the consolidation process; initiating and efficiently implementing improvements in processes and further developments
- Being the link between the consolidation system and the ERP System to enable monthly reporting from the entities

What we look for
- Studies in business administration with a focus on accounting or comparable commercial training with many years of relevant professional experience
- Many years of professional experience in the field of group accounting; especially in complex group structures.
- Experience with projects and processes is a benefit
- Excellent Accounting and Group Consolidation skills, advanced skills in IFRS Reporting Standards
- Advanced MS Office, SAP and SAP SEM BCS skills
- Advanced German and English skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team, good interdisciplinary and intercultural cooperation, showing and taking initiative
