The **Institute of Building Physics, Services, and Construction (Unit of Building Physics)** at TU Graz has an opening for a

**University Projectassistant without Doctorate / PhD Position (M/F/d) for CO2 measurement in schools**

40 hours/week, starting now, limited to 1 year

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Project coordination, including documentation of progress and project milestones
- Practical work installing and calibrating CO2 measurement devices in 1200 classrooms across Austria
- Briefing school staff on the project aims and the correct use of sensors and appropriate ventilation measures
- Responsibility for the ongoing calibration of the instruments and the correct functioning of the sensors, the consistency of the data and the storage in a database
- Preparation of a literature review on air quality and ventilation in schools
- Publication of journal articles
- Participation in university self-government
- Participation in institute meetings
- Taking on administrative tasks, such as website maintenance and responding to enquiries from project participants

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Completed master's degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering or a related discipline such as environmental engineering or architecture
- Capable of working in a team and also independently
- Proactive, able to plan ahead and foresee potential problems before they manifest
- Numerate, with good computational skills, able to evaluate and interpret data.
- Excellent report writing skills. Fluent spoken and written German and English

We offer a minimum annual gross salary based on full-time of € 45,882,20, overpayment possible depending on qualification and experience.
