**Project Planning & Control Specialist**:

As Research & Development (RnD) Project Planner & Controller you will play a vital role ensuring that projects stay on schedule, within budget and deliver on their business case. You will lead planning, scheduling, tracking and cost controlling efforts for all project phases including commercialization. This includes portfolio planning, risk and change management. You will maintain, analyze and monitor actual and forecasted schedules, costs and risk. JOIN THE AUTOMATION TEAM - and start your success story in our international high-tech company

**Your responsibilities**:

- Drive and shape the project planning and controlling processes within the PG organization based on ABB guidelines and industry best practices.
- Supervises project execution, costs and risk through scheduled project reviews with the project team, project managers and management to ensure proper and timely project performance. Prepare estimation over project expenses and future revenues in cooperation with the project managers to allow ROI calculations
- Develop and maintain business plan templates to be applied by project teams, work with product management and product owners to develop business plans and ensure trackability and ROI calculations
- Set-up a project planning and controlling taskforce and delegate responsibilities for areas of work to be undertaken to ensure all project planning and controlling activities are performed within the projects.
- Ensure that the project portfolio follows good and advanced project planning and controlling methodology, execution tracking and reporting practices.
- Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, consulting on revenues planning, resource planning, and other project execution issues.

**Your background**:

- Successfully completed technical or business studies or several years of experience as a project manager handling complex projects
- At least 3 years of professional experience as project manager or project controller
- Fluent in German and English, other languages are an added advantage
- Experience with MS Office required
- SAP PS module knowledge preferred
- Independent, methodical and structured way of working with a strong solution orientation
- Excellent leadership, social and communication skills
- Hands-on and solution-oriented personality
- Assertiveness, innovative thinking and motivation to make optimizations
