**TAX AND COMPLIANCE MANAGER**

**Area of responsibility**:

- Responsible for all external reports to be delivered for and to the group
- Reconciliation and review of tax schedules, calculations and disclosure notes for year-end Group reporting
- Reconciliation, preparation and review of the financial statements in local GAAP for all companies in the hub
- Liaising with external advisors for the planning, preparation and timely submission of the corporate tax returns
- Manage tax prepayments for all the companies within the responsibility of the hub
- Cooperating with Group Tax, supporting the business relationship with local tax authorities, ensuring a strong and professional relationship is maintained
- Assist in the collection of financial and other data required in the event of tax authority queries
- Perform monthly direct tax controls regarding BESTSELLER’s Tax Control Framework
- Assistance with transfer pricing documentation and policies and relevant intercompany agreements
- Support Group Tax with Pillar 2 preparation
- Other ad hoc duties include preparation and/or review of dividend payments, funding activities of hub entities, M&A support, local reorganizations and restructurings
- Point of contact of VAT for the hub (audits, VAT compliance service providers, Inhouse-Finance department)
- Perform VAT controls regarding BESTSELLER's tax control framework
- Responsible for timely and correct submission of any compliance requirements with the hub

**Your Profile**:

- University degree in Finance / Business Administration or Accounting
- Excellent accounting skills - Strong knowledge of IFRS, preferably with corporate income tax knowledge or interest
- Experience in preparing audited financial statements is an add on
- Experience gained either in accountancy firm or in the Tax/Finance department of a multinational business
- Very good excel and systems skills, experience with SAP is a plus
- Academically strong and analytical, always looking for ways to improve and works well under pressure
- Curious, pragmatic, proactive, hands-on, well-organized and able to prioritize and meet multiple deliverables at deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills, good attention to detail, can-do attitude, great collaborative and communication skills
- Able to manage multiple stakeholders
- Fluency in English is a must
