The OSCE has a comprehensive approach to security that encompasses politico-military, economic and environmental, and human aspects. It therefore addresses a wide range of security-related concerns, including arms control, confidence
- and security-building measures, human rights, combating human trafficking, national minorities, democratization, policing strategies, counter-terrorism and economic and environmental activities. All 57 participating States enjoy equal status, and decisions are taken by consensus on a politically, but not legally binding basis.

The OSCE Secretariat in Vienna assists the Chairpersonship in its activities, and provides operational and administrative support to the field operations, and, as appropriate, to other institutions.

The Office of the Co-ordinator of OSCE Economic and Environmental Activities (OCEEA) deals with economic and environmental issues, operating under the premise that promoting economic prosperity and co-operation on environmental problems can contribute to international security and stability. The Office currently comprises 22 staff members.

The EGU supports concrete anti-corruption programmes and activities through capacity building and awareness-raising events, scoping and advisory missions, as well as activities aimed at strengthening institutional and legislative frameworks. Increasingly, the assistance is focusing on corruption prevention measures, asset recovery, anti-money laundering and countering terrorism financing through national risk assessments, sharing of experiences and best practices, and online trainings.

The post is located in the Economic Governance Unit (EGU) within the OSCE Secretariat's Office of the Co-ordinator of OSCE Economic and Environmental Activities (OCEEA), within the project No. 1102564 "Supporting anti-corruption efforts of the Government of Moldova" which is currently envisaged to last until 31 March 2027. The assignment is requested to start as soon as possible for the duration of 5 months and 29 days.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
The Project Officer Anti-corruption will work under the direct supervision of EGU's Senior Economic Officer, with the Deputy Co-ordinator/Head of Economic Activities as second-level supervisor. The work will include the following tasks:

- Organizing and co-ordinating project activities, identifying target audiences for capacity-building events, workshops, trainings, conferences, and meetings. This includes preparing agendas, work programmes, background papers, information briefs for donors, and other related project documentation. Preparing procurement plans for delivery of specialized software and hardware as specified in the project proposal;
- Monitoring and expediting project implementation through discussions and correspondence with donors, counterparts in the Republic of Moldova, field visits, and analysis of project progress. Utilising information obtained as an input to corrective decision-making and revisions;
- Overseeing preparation of administrative documents and background materials pertaining to the issues addressed by the Project activities. Preparing reports related to the implementation of the project, including interim and final progress reports for submission to the donor, project evaluation reports and briefing papers on project implementation;
- Fundraising for the project and maintaining relations with funding sources. Identifying, reporting on and following-up on emerging sources of funding;
- Overseeing the development of project activities and liaising with counterparts to facilitate their support and participation. Preparing terms of reference for the employment of consultants and implementing partners and monitoring the implementation of activities and submission of reports by the implementing partners and consultants. Overseeing the work of the Assistant Project Officer and of the Project Assistant;
- Liaising with international, regional and national governmental and non-governmental institutions with the purpose of collecting and sharing information and co-ordinating activities in the area of preventing and combating corruption in the Republic of Moldova;
- Performing other duties as required.

Necessary Qualifications:

- First-level university degree in International Relations, Political Science, Economics, Law, Social Sciences, Good Governance, Anti-Corruption or Public Administration;
- A minimum of six years of professional-level experience in economic governance and anticorruption;
- Work experience in project development and management;
- Experience in resource mobilization and fundraising;
- Understanding of and experience in security-related economic governance issues, in particular anti-money laundering and anti-corruption issues;
